Team mode (Agency)
Team mode lets one Agency account owner add teammates who work inside the same set of profiles. It is built for agencies and small teams that need several people running the same accounts without sharing a single login.
What you get
Section titled “What you get”Team mode is available only on the Agency plan ($149/mo, 300 profiles). It is not part of Starter or Pro.
With it, the account owner can:
- Create up to 10 member accounts (email + password each).
- Decide which profiles each member can use (see Profile sharing).
- Let the whole team work from one subscription and one shared pool of profiles.
Roles: owner vs member
Section titled “Roles: owner vs member”There are two roles in a team. The differences are clear-cut.
| Capability | Owner | Member |
|---|---|---|
| Manage the team (add/remove members) | Yes | No |
| Choose which profiles a member can use | Yes | No |
| Create new profiles | Yes | No |
| Launch shared profiles | Yes | Yes |
| Edit shared profiles | Yes | Yes |
| Delete shared profiles | Yes | Yes |
| Export / import cookies on shared profiles | Yes | Yes |
| Log in to the website account cabinet | Yes | No |
| Own a team of their own | Yes | No (one level only) |
A few things worth calling out:
- Members only use profiles that have been shared with them. They cannot create their own profiles — they work with what the owner shares.
- Members get full control of a shared profile once it is shared: they can launch it, edit its settings, delete it, and export or import its cookies.
- A member cannot be the owner of another team. Teams are one level deep.
How to set up a team (owner)
Section titled “How to set up a team (owner)”Team management happens on the website account cabinet, not in the desktop app.
- Make sure your subscription is on the Agency plan. If not, upgrade first — see Subscribe & upgrade.
- Sign in to your account on santiago-browser.com and open the Team page.
- Add a member by entering their email and password. The account is created for them — there is no self-registration, so they do not need to sign up themselves.
- Choose which profiles that member can use by ticking the sharing checkboxes. See Profile sharing for the full walkthrough.
- Share the email and password with your teammate so they can sign in to the desktop app.
You can add up to 10 members. Removing a member also removes all of their profile shares automatically.
How members sign in
Section titled “How members sign in”Members use the desktop app only. They sign in with the email and password the owner created for them, then see the profiles shared with them.
If a member tries to create a profile, the app will not allow it — members work only with shared profiles.
Shared subscription and session pool
Section titled “Shared subscription and session pool”Everything the team does counts against the owner’s Agency subscription.
- One pool of profiles. The team shares the Agency limit of 300 profiles. Only the owner can create them.
- One concurrent-session pool. Agency allows a limited number of profiles running at the same time, and that limit is shared across the entire team. If the limit is reached, the next launch — by anyone on the team — is blocked until a running profile is stopped.
- One state per profile. A profile’s cookies and open tabs are shared. Whoever launches a profile picks up the latest saved session, and changes are saved back for the next person. Because of this, a profile can only run on one device at a time — if a teammate has it open, you will see it as locked.
What happens if the subscription lapses
Section titled “What happens if the subscription lapses”A member’s access comes from the owner’s subscription. If the owner’s plan is no longer Agency (downgraded or expired), members lose access until the owner is on an active Agency plan again. See License states for how the app shows this.
