Subscribe & upgrade

Santiago is paid-only: you pick a plan, pay by card or crypto, and your profiles unlock right away. This page walks through buying your first plan and moving up to a bigger tier later.

Plans are managed from your account on the website, not inside the desktop app. The app reads your current license and shows your tier and remaining days; the actual checkout happens in your browser at santiago-browser.com.

A few things to know up front:

  • There is no free trial. When you register, no subscription is created yet. You get full access (create profiles, launch them, generate fingerprints) only after your first payment.
  • You can buy any tier as your first plan.
  • Once you have an active paid plan, you can upgrade to a higher tier at any time, and you only pay the difference.

For the full tier comparison and limits, see Plans.

  1. Register and verify your email at santiago-browser.com. Public registration is free and creates no subscription.

  2. Sign in to your account, then open the Subscription page. On a brand-new account this opens automatically as a “choose a plan” screen.

  3. Pick a tier:

    PlanPriceProfilesNotes
Starter$9/mo3Good for a first set of accounts
    Pro$59/mo40Most popular
Agency$149/mo300Includes a team of up to 10 members
  4. (Optional) Enter a referral code to get 10% off your first payment. See Referrals for how codes work.

  5. Continue to checkout, choose how you want to pay (see below), and complete the payment.

  6. When the payment is confirmed, your subscription activates and the desktop app unlocks. The app’s subscription badge switches from “No plan” to your tier with the days remaining.

At checkout you choose one of two payment methods before paying:

MethodPay withBest for
CardCredit / debit cardEveryday card payments
CryptoCryptocurrencyPaying with crypto

Pick the option that suits you and follow the on-screen instructions. You’ll be redirected to the secure payment page, and after the payment completes you’re returned to your account, which updates automatically once the payment is confirmed.

When you already have an active paid plan, you can move up to a bigger tier (for example, Starter to Pro, or Pro to Agency) whenever you need more profiles.

Upgrades are prorated: the unused time left on your current plan is credited toward the new tier, so you only pay the difference.

Santiago figures out how much of your current plan you haven’t used yet, then subtracts that value from the new plan’s price. You’re charged only the remainder.

  • Unused value = current plan price × (days remaining ÷ days in the billing period)
  • You pay = new plan price − unused value (never less than $0)

You’re on Starter ($9/mo) with 15 of 30 days left, and you upgrade to Pro ($59/mo):

  • Unused value of Starter: $9 × (15 ÷ 30) = $4.50
  • Charge for Pro: $59 − $4.50 = $54.50

If the credited amount ever covers the full price (charge comes out to $0), the upgrade activates immediately with no payment needed.

  1. Open your account and go to the Subscription page.
  2. Select the higher tier you want.
  3. (Optional) Apply a referral code if you have one.
  4. Review the order summary — it shows the new tier and the prorated amount you’ll be charged.
  5. Choose card or crypto and complete the payment.
  6. Your old plan is replaced by the new tier, and your profile limit increases right away.

You cannot downgrade while you have an active subscription. There’s no option to switch from a higher tier to a lower one mid-subscription; the request is rejected.

If you need a smaller plan, you can choose a lower tier the next time you start fresh (when you don’t have an active paid subscription).

  • The desktop app refreshes your license automatically and unlocks profile creation, launching, and fingerprint generation.
  • Your account’s transaction history records each payment and tier change.
  • If something looks off, the app may show a “Choose a plan” or “Subscription expired” prompt — see License states to understand each state.
  • Plans — full tier comparison and limits
  • License states — what each subscription status means in the app
  • Switch offer — moving over from another anti-detect browser
  • Referrals — get a discount and earn commission
